Water and Electricity and gas are free in Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan formerly known as Turkmenia, is a beautiful country in Central Asia bordered by the Caspian Sea and largely covered by the Karakum Desert.

Covering around half a million (488,100) square kilometers, it is the world’s 52nd largest country by land area.

The capital of Turkmenistan is Ashgabat, which means “City of Love” or “City of Devotion”.

Turkmenistan holds the world’s fourth-largest natural gas reserves, behind Russia, Iran and Qatar and the country sells most of its gas output to China.

Believe it or not, Citizens of Turkmenistan have been receiving government-provided electricity, water and natural gas free of charge since 1993. The decision was made for 10 years, As soon as the decree expired, President extended the free energy policy until 2030.
