A study was released on wealthiest individuals by the global market research group of South Africa and in order to carry on this study they had to consider some other factors including economic growth, press freedom and women’s safety.
The report itself stated that “Woman safety is one of the best ways to gauge a country’s long-term wealth growth potential, with a correlation of over 90% between historic wealth growth and woman safety levels,”.
Furthermore the report says that “This means that wealth growth is boosted by strong levels of woman safety in a country,”.
This study was led through 195 countries and the countries with unreliable crime statistics were eliminated and remaining 58 countries were considered when selecting top 5 countries.
The selection was made on the percentage of each country’s population that has been identified as a victim of crimes such as rape, human trafficking, slavery or general assaults on women during the past year.
It is surprising to see major European cities like London and Paris having a decline in women’s safety.
