Quadrum ski and yoga resort: Hotel built from Shipping Containers in Georgia

When it comes to environmentally friendly designs, Shipping containers are one of environmentally friendly designer’s’ favorite materials.

The Quadrum Ski and Yoga Resort in Georgia that was made from re-purposed shipping containers is a great example for environmentally friendly designs. Most of the materials used to build the resort were environmentally friendly.

The Resort has been built 2200 Meters above sea level in the Caucasus mountains of Georgia (200km north of the Georgian capital Tbilisi).

Built in a pyramid shape, The resort offers single rooms to family rooms. Which means the rooms are available for all types of guests whether it’s for families or solo travelers.

There is also a swimming pool and a sauna.

The architect Sandro Ramishvili and Irakli Eristavi are the minds behind this beautiful resort.
