New Zealand Prime Minister suggests the entire nation move to a 4-day work week

Prime Minister in New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern recently suggested the entire nation move to a 4-day work week instead of doing 5 days. By joining a Facebook live video discussed this.

“I’ve had lots of people suggesting we should have a four-day week. Ultimately, that really sits between employers and employees,” Ardern said.

Furthermore, she’s explaining 60% of New Zealand’s tourism comes from domestic travel. Giving people an extra free day to explore would help the country’s economy.

The Price Minister said she would really encourage employers to think about that if that’s something that would work for your workplace because that obviously helps the country’s tourism industry.
