Trinity College Old Library – Dublin, Ireland

Designed by Thomas Burgh, Trinity College Library is the largest library in Ireland. It was established in 1732.  Located in the heart of Dublin City, the library serves Trinity College and the University of Dublin.

Bodleian Library – England

Anyone remember the Library in Harry Potter movie series. This is the library they used for Harry Potter movie series.  Bodleian Library at University of Oxford is one of the oldest libraries in Europe. The library was established in 1602.

Royal Portuguese Reading Room – Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Located in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, the Royal Portuguese Reading Room houses the largest collection of Portuguese works outside of Portugal. It was designed by Rafael da Silva e Castro.

Seattle Central Library – Seattle, Washington, USA

The Seattle Public Library’s Central Library is the flagship library of The Seattle Public Library system. The Library contains 400 computers and 1 million books. It was established 2004. Rem Koolhaas and Joshua Prince-Ramus of OMA/LMN were the principal architects.

Stuttgart City Library – Stuttgart, Germany

Stuttgart City Library is the public library of the city of Stuttgart.  It was desidned by Yi Architects and established in 2011.

Library of Birmingham – Birmingham, U.K.

Designed by Dutch architect Francine Houben, The library was established in 2013. Library of Birmingham is the largest public library in Europe.
