A couple in Australia breaks world record for heaviest blueberry

A couple in Australia recently made a Guinness World Record by growing the heaviest blueberry in the world, which weighs in at more than half an ounce (16.2-gram).

The berry has a diameter of 1.4 inches.

David and Leasa Mazzardis are the proud owners of the record, according to the Guinness website and it was officially recorded by the Guinness organization on Sept. 20.

The blueberry belongs to the Ozblu variety, which is known for its large size.
