Internet company Cloudflare experienced an outage Tuesday, causing disruptions for some of the world’s largest websites and services.
Cloudflare has more than 16 million customers around the globe.
Many internet users from around the globe had reported seeing “502 errors” displayed in their browsers when they tried to visit its clients.
“Aware of major @Cloudflare issues impacting us network wide. Team is working on getting to the bottom of what’s going on. Will continue to update.” co-founder and CEO Matthew Prince posted on Twitter.
502 Bad Gateway
A 502 Bad Gateway indicates that an internet server has received a invalid response from another server it is trying to contact.
