15 Year Old Student Discovers a Lost Ancient Mayan City

William Gadoury , 15 year old from Quebec has gone viral on internet due to his fascinating discovery in forgotten Mayan City using satellite photos and Mayan Astronomy. He is said to be curious over the ancient civilizations since his childhood.

He used star charts and google maps to locate this forgotten mayan city in a very remote location on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico after a long research of three years. The research was based on the following theory. According to Gadoury, he found that almost all the ancient cities and civilizations matched with the brightest stars in the night sky. But he spotted that one of the brightest stars in a constellation did not correspond with a known city.

After Analyzing google earth images and the uncovered satellite images issued from Canadian Space Agency he could identify several landscape shapes to be believed as man made with 30 buildings and 86-meter pyramid. The city was named as K’AAK ‘CHI for Mouth of Fire.

But still there are confusions going on by some of the archeologists saying this is Junk Science which took over the internet and this landscape is nothing more than an abandoned cornfield.

His research was presented to 2 Mexican archeologists who have promised to accompany him in their next expedition to this long lost Mayan city. But it is said to be that William’s discovery will be published in scientific journal and will present his findings in coming Brazil’s International Science fair in 2017.
